We're listening to what you need.
There is a difference between a hearing screening and a comprehensive hearing evaluation. A screening is a quick check of the important frequencies with a pass/fail result; those are free. A comprehensive hearing evaluation is a series of tests to determine if you have hearing loss, the type, cause and degree of the loss and the function of your hearing process. This will be completed by one of our licensed audiologists. There is a cost for this test, but it is covered by many insurance companies.
We will show all patients that buy hearing aids from us how to pair newer iPhones (iPhone X [10] and newer). iPhones that are model 9 or earlier and ANY Android phones may not be able to paired to newer hearing aids. We will try to connect these devices, but after the second failed attempt we will provide them with the manufacturers instructions and contact info if they wish to pursue that themselves.
We provide free aid cleanings and check ups for many of our patients. We are not allowed to do this with some insurance companies and third party hearing aid providers. It is not practical for some older aids that are beyond their warranteed life expectancy. We make every effort to help you hear your best for the least expense.
That is not a an issue if you let us know in advance; preferably more than 24 hours from your appointment. The first time you miss an appointment without calling, we will reschedule you for a convenient time. If it happens more than once there will be a $65 penalty for each missed appointment, unless you have a valid excuse.
